This Privacy Policy explains how Memoro AI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the Memoro AI mobile application and related services (the "App"). Please read it together with our Terms of Service. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
We are the team behind Memoro AI. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as the data controller of your personal information.

We do not use your photos or face data to train, develop, or improve any AI model, and we do not sell your personal information.
Your photos are the heart of Memoro AI, and we treat them with special care.
When you select a photo and tap Generate, the image is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our secure cloud, where a third-party AI processing service performs the requested transformation and returns a result. This cloud processing is required for the App's core features.
Some features (AI Beauty, Magic Eraser, Outfit Change, and Face Swap) require detecting whether a photo contains a face. This face detection runs locally on your device using an embedded SDK. We do not create, store, or upload a separate facial-geometry or biometric template to our servers. Face detection is used only to validate that a photo is suitable for the selected feature; it is never used to identify or authenticate any individual.
We never use the photos you upload, or the results we generate, to train or improve AI models — ours or any third party's.

When you delete your account, we erase your profile and credit balance and initiate deletion of associated personal data, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations.
We rely on a small number of trusted providers. They may process limited data on our behalf as data processors, or as independent controllers under their own policies.

We and our service providers may process your information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, the UK, or other regulated regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. In the past 12 months we may have collected identifiers, device/internet activity, commercial information (in-app purchases), and audio/visual information (the photos you upload). We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. You have the right to know, delete, and correct your information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.
We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and short cloud-retention windows (the 24-hour deletion described above). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data and limit how long it exists on our systems.
Memoro AI is intended for adults and is not directed to children under the age of 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it and close any associated account.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the App (for example, a pop-up or push notification). Your continued use of the App after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
